Bali Waterfalls: The Island’s Natural Wonders

Banyumala is one of the island’s most beautiful waterfalls. Three streams cascade here, with the largest drop in the middle and two smaller ones on either side. The highest fall is about 20 meters. Below the three streams lies a large natural round pool roughly 15 meters in diameter. The pool is moderately deep—around chest height for an adult. Nung Nung is another spectacular spot, about 30 km from Ubud. The waterfall drops around 50 meters, and its powerful flow creates a dramatic sight. Steps lead down to the falls, and you can enjoy wonderful views along the way.
